Favorite Projects: Carvana Presentation
For our MBA capstone project, my team and I chose to analyze Carvana’s growth strategy and opportunities. Designing this presentation was one of my favorite projects, and presenting it was just as fun.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the company, Carvana is an online platform for buying used cars with a set price - no negotiations. The buyer can either have their car delivered or pick it up from one of Carvana’s locations, which look like vending machines, complete with a giant coin to bring the car down.
Originally, I thought the car vending machine was a bit gimmicky. BUT THEN. As part of our “research,” my group and I stopped by the Tempe Carvana location and the employees showed us around, let us check out the vending machine coins, and took our photo (complete with art direction). The photo was originally part of our presentation, but I removed it because I have not yet asked my team for their modeling releases.
Here’s an edited version of our slide deck:
Disclaimer: I don’t have any affiliation with Carvana (other than really liking their brand). Images and information not sourced from Carvana are included in the presentation notes.
